As a major city of Canada, Toronto offers a wide variety of cultural experiences. All over the town you can find a many little pieces from all over the world. So if you want to experience different cultures you don’t need to travel far, just visit Toronto and walk through all its neighborhoods. The following article concentrates more on the entertaining and shopping side of Toronto.

Visit the districts where life buzzes of lively shops, boutiques and restaurants. Walk down the streets filled with several kinds of shops, find the best deals and at the end of the day have a rest in one of the fine restaurants of Toronto city.

Downtown Yonge

Visit Downtown Yonge at Dundas Station and enter its world-class shops, galerias and dining places. The neighborhood has spectacular architectuer, more then 350 shops and numberless bars and restaurants. Nonetheless appart from shopping there are several other activities you can do here. Watch a movie or a theatrical show or attend a concert. Life never stops at Downtown Yonge. The pubs, cafes and restaurants are always open and happy to serve you.

Queen West

Find the neighborhood of Queen West located between Bathurst and Simcoe station. This trendy part of Toronto has several historical buildings. It is also called as the fashion district of Toronto as it boasts with a wide range of shoe, clothing and bead stores and also stores with sewing and fabric supplies. Sit out in one of the patios or bars and listen to live music every night, let it be jazz, rock or any other genre. All the restaurants and dining places are open until late in the evening.

West Queen West

Just a few steps from Queen West you will find the neighborhood of West Queen West where you again have the opportunity to wander through the numberless boutiques, galleries and restaurants. The neighborhood is always dynamic and lively and has a unique appearance thanks to the work of artists and designers. Find creativity and inspiration by learning about original fashion, Art Deco and antiques.

Sit out in the magnificent Trinity Bellwoods Park and watch people pass bay, walking their pets and having a picnic. If you are a fan of Canadian art visit the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art where you can admire the most intriguing and popular artworks made by contemporary artists.
