The Five Best Malls in Toronto – shopping time!

Shopping is always part of one’s holiday programs and a city like Toronto offers numberless shops and malls where you can shop as much as you like or as much as your wallet lets you. There are so many different kinds of places to shop in Toronto that at first it might seem overwhelming.

You might ask the questions: where to go? Which one to choose? Where to start? If you are a tourist in Toronto we suggest you set out and hit the largest malls downtown. No matter which part of the city you are located you will definitley bump into one of the shopping malls of Toronto.

Toronto Eaton Centre

Toronto Eaton Center is located in the central area of Toronto as a large landmark of the city. The mall has five floors where you can find all kinds of stores imaginable, from fashion to entertainment, restaurants, bars, a beautiful fountain and many others.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre

The York Shopping Center can be found in the northern part of Toronto. This mall once has been the largest shopping paradise in the world and even today it is an essential part of citizens and occasional tourist shoppers. The building has hundreds of stores and their number grows every year. The mall’s third floor, which opened recently, last year is a new expansion of the building which has a lovely food court and patio. Visit the new Microsoft shop or Tesla Motors and have fun shopping.

Sherway Gardens

On the western side Sherway Gardens holds the fort. Ranking among the top five malls of Toronto Sherway Gardens offers you a relaxing time inside its indoor gardens and small gallery packed with paintings created by local artists. Take a seat in one of the comfy armchairs next to a stylish and cozy lamp table and order your favorite drink. Go shopping at Aercrombie and Fitch, Club Monaco, HMV and other popular stores.

Fairview Mall

Located on the northeastern side of Toronto you will find the Fairview Mall, the best place to go out with your children. There are several toy shops: a LEGO store and other game stores. Also it is an ideal place to shop for chocolates and sweets at Godiva Chocolatier or Laura Secord. After an exhausting shopping experience take a rest at one of the lounge areas.

PATH

PATH is a hidden shopping complex located in the center of Toronto underground the pedestrian tunnels. Go astray in this large maze of shops, buy books, or flowers or anything you like. There are several food courts and you can even find shoeshine boots.
