Winterlude is the winter celebration of Ottawa, the Canadian capital. The event has been organized every February for over 30 years and it celebrates the unique northern culture and climate of the country. The festivities of Winterlude are focused in more than one location: at the Confederation Park, the Snowflake Kingdom in Gatineau and the Rideau Canal.

Admire the ice sculptures, play in the snow and don’t forget to bring your ice skates. Join in the winter fun and discover the joys of Winterlude in Canda, Ottawa in 2014. Winters are always best in the north!

Ice, ice baby

During winter time there are lots of creative things one can do. Those who have the dexterity and handcraft will make incredible ice sculptures from a simple block of ice of which the best works are exhibited at Confederation Park. Visit the park and admire the stunning artworks lit by magical colored lights. Also you can peak into the winter wonderland downtown.
